Heatex’s Innovative Cooling Solutions Drive Efficiency in GE’s Haliade-X

The GE Haliade-X, the world’s most powerful offshore wind turbine, relies on Heatex’s innovative cooling technology to ensure its optimal performance and longevity. This case study highlights the challenges posed by the turbine’s immense size and the harsh offshore environment, and how Heatex’s customized cooling system addresses them. Through its efficient heat dissipation and corrosion-resistant design, Heatex plays a vital role in maximizing the turbine’s energy production and minimizing maintenance costs.

The GEN1000-ECO

Plant scientists and the universities, research institutes and government agencies they work in are increasingly calling for more energy efficient lab equipment. They also want their equipment to be flexible so that they can use it for multiple different plant science experiments –thereby stretching their research dollars for maximum impact.

THE WATER-ENERGY NEXUS IN THE AGE OF AI: How Data Centers Can Optimize Water Use with Indirect Evaporative Liquid Cooling

As data centers confront growing challenges in sustainability and resource use, across the United States and around the world, a clear-eyed view of water use is still the missing ingredient in delivering on an array of operational objectives—from efficiency and sustainability, to operational excellence and business continuity, to financial performance.

Dehumidifier Phaseout Regulations

There has been significant confusion in the HVAC industry around the effective phaseout dates of the refrigerants used in dehumidifiers. Much of it stems from three separate regulations with different effective dates: California, Washington, and EPA.

Complying with California and Washington’s Refrigerant Phaseout Requirements

By this time, everyone has heard about the EPA’s AIM Act passed on December 27, 2020 and the subsequent Technology Transitions Program that limits the use of climate damaging hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in specific technology sectors and subsectors, such as foam, aerosols, and refrigeration, air conditioning, and heat pumps. While these regulations will impact the entire United States, there are also regulations in place in California and Washington that also impact the space conditioning products we rely on to cool our homes, offices, ice arenas and food distribution network
